What Our Customers Are Saying About Us....

Hi Dale and Tammy,

I know it’s been a long time & I have meant to contact you so many times but things have been crazy busy with the wedding last month and Steve injuring his knee on the wedding night in a wedding cup-cake wrestling match made things a bit crazy afterward. BUT I wanted to let you know that Tari is WONDERFUL! Daniel has been riding her, I rode her for the wedding – even Steve, his son Gavin, my sister and niece have ridden her. She is an absolute delight! We all love her to bits. She has gotten a bit spooked by something in the woods behind us (deer? Coyote? Fox? Who knows), just as Chesney did, but we are working on her with that and she trusts us so much.

Please enjoy the attached photos!

I hope Chesney has settled down and you are able to find the right match for him- please let me know how he is doing if you get the chance.

Thank you!

Regards,
Kathleen Nowack (Granzow)

Hi!

I just wanted to give you an update on Poseidon formerly Tyson.

He is doing great. He has fully adjusted to his new home and fits right in. He is getting worked 5 days a week.

He has started his lessons in jumping and is doing wonderful. Attached you will find some pictures of his jumping lesson on Friday, September 23, 2011.

We absolutly love him, he is a wonderful addition to the family.

The camera lens was a bit dirty, I apologize.

Thank you,
Debbie & Chrissy Schwarz

Greetings,

It has been a while since I sent an update, so to reintroduce myself I am Dan Antolec of Brooklyn, WI. About 5 years ago my wife and I bought Fanci (whom we now call Fancy) and took her home on May 22nd. She is a beautiful American Paint mare and has been a wonderful addition to our animal family of three sheep and three Labradors. She certainly lives the good life these days. Fancy has been a sweet and steady horse, easy to keep and ride, and quite social with us and all of our animals. I would like to share with you a description of a typical day at our homestead.

After breakfast I walk our three Labs to the barn and we stand in the aisle while Fancy greets us, sometimes licking the faces of the nearest dogs, who stand quietly and receive her affection. When Fancy stops licking and enters her stall I give her a carrot and her mineral supplement while the dogs mingle with the sheep. After Fancy finishes eating her treat she stands in the doorway of her stall, lowers her head and waits until I approach her for some petting, at which time she licks my hand. I accompany her to the gate and let her into the paddock with the sheep, and then step back to watch her run and jump and kick in joy as she makes her way through the paddock, sometimes running in circles in childlike celebration.

During the day I frequently visit the barnyard to play with the dogs, pet the sheep and give Fancy some attention. Whenever I wish to ride her, or when I bring her into the barn at night, all I need do is pass through the gate and walk a few steps in her direction. Fancy stops grazing, raises her head and looks intently at me. If I raise my hand high overhead and wave at her, Fancy comes running up to me and slows to a polite walk when she makes her final approach. She is such a sweet and gentle horse I never need to chase her around the paddock or entice her with a carrot to slip a halter and lead rope on her. All I need do is quietly approach her, talk to her in a gentle voice, stroke her neck and walk her through the gate with only my hand stroking her cheek to keep her at my side.

Fancy is always sweet and quiet during grooming and tacking, and is reliable during our trail rides. When she occasionally spooks she recovers quickly and we resume our ride. On occasion we put a halter on her and walk her along the trail, dogs in tow, stopping now and then to let her munch the grass and clover. She continues to amaze our veterinarian and farrier each time they visit, and they comment on her good manners and sweet nature. I am always quick to explain how wonderful Timmermann's Ranch was in helping us select Fancy and enable us to find our perfect horse, especially as first-time horse owners.

Thank you again for your wonderful service. I hope our praise has encouraged others to seek you out and see for themselves the great horses and expert advice you have to offer. Fancy is a great blessing in our lives and we are forever grateful.

Dan and Faye Antolec Brooklyn, WI

Hello Friends,

Simon, "Ranger" is his new horse name, is doing great! I love him so much. He is a very good horse. He is still a little spooky by himself on trail but that will get better with time. I do need to get myself a new saddle though, I will stop by soon. Here are some pictures of me and Ranger. Have a great day.

Hello all,

We finally had some decent weather to take some pictures of Blizzard in his new home. He settling in really well and I absolutely love him to death. In one short week he has already graduated from pen 1 into pen 4 which is still closer to the barn, but it's more open and there is more to see. I can't wait until we dry up and get a little bit warmer... then it's work time for Blizzard and fun time for me :) !!!! I will definitely keep in touch on how he is doing and will get some more pictures when we dry up and the grass starts coming in in the pastures.

Thank you all again very much for all your help and such a wonderful horse!

Alex

Dale,
Thank-you for your card and discount card, I will come in and look at saddles. Pixie is adjusting better that I imagined. My gelding took to her right away, how could he not like her, she is too cute. She learns very quickly and I just love her already. I hope Blizzard is adjusting as well. My thoughts are with him. I know you will find him a good home. Here is a picture of Pixie in her new home and what she thinks of all this snow.

Thank-you again. Petra

Hello lovely people at the ranch!!

I just wanted to say "Thank You Ladies So Much for All Your Help and Patience while in the process of buying my new man Rascal!!" You made every step so easy. I never felt rushed or pressured at all. It was a very pleasant experience!

I got a horse that loves to be loved on and is so sweet and egar to please! Jeff couldn't have put it any better. He is a true Diamond in the Rough! Mr. Rascal is fitting in really nice at Jeff's and everyone compliments on how sweet mannered he is in his stall and turning him out. His color reminds me of cinnimon and powdered sugar. I have been riding him almost everyday and we are learning the canter cue, backing and neck rein. He is learning very quick. I couldn't have asked for a better match.

Thank Tom for a giving me the opportunity to be able to find this wonderful horse at your facility and let him know my thoughts and prayers are with him on a speedy recovery.

I will keep you posted as things keep getting better and better with this sweet fellow.

Huge Hugs and nickers coming your way!!!
Keep being the amazing people that you are!!

Sincerly,

Hi Everyone at Timmermanns... Just wanted to say hi and wish you guys a very Merry Christmas. This is my Extra update! Extra and I have had a very good year. Our best so far. His medication regulated his head flipping/shaking and we rode outside... I think he wishes he was a trail horse... He has been so good! We have a bridle path that goes around the edge of the property. He, if given a choice, always chooses the bridle path. If other horses head for the path and he thinks we are being left behind he gets jiggy and upset.. He loves to lead. He does not like to be the last horse.. He does not care if we are alone. We spent many a summer day walking, cantering along all by ourselves... He is sooo brave...

The new saddle is great. It seems to be comfy for Extra and It is really comfy for me.

I finally have been able to ground mount the boy, it is not pretty but I can get up there. He is patient and waits for me to climb up. Extra is never boring... He especially likes to keep me on my toes in the winter :) I think we are trend setting at Gateway... We have more western riders this year. I am planning/hoping to go to my first show this summerm 2010... of course we will see if Extra is available and does not have other plans (he was not into it last summer). I will be dressed by Timmermanns.

He enjoys cantering between cones. It is our version of pole bending. I think he is very athletic. Last week Jonelle was riding him and he was bouncing like on a trampoline. Honest he looked like he had springs on each hoof. He is never boring.

Extra is very busy during this Holiday season. He is pretty much eating all day long. On turnout all you see is his tail bag, leg and butt as his head is stuck in round bail chowing down. He does not seem to ever get full. When I take him out to ride I feel like I am being rude and intruding on dinner hour. I think he is very happy!

Glitz and Anne are doing well and riding western. He is so cute with that mane flying. Santa brought him a pretty new black western head stall. Lynn is riding western and she had a great time at the lesson she won with Dale. I was just on your site and watched the video of your family business... I must tell Anne to watch it as I think I saw Glitz on the video.

How proud you must all be in business and making so many people happy with your beautiful horses. I thank God every day for my beautifull boy and for so much fun riding and being with horses. Lots of friends my age are talking about their aches and pains and really are not fun and don't seem to have much to look forward to. I listen to them and am so grateful that I may be getting older but I am having the time of my life... Thanks again for parterning me up with Mr. Extra and helping make my dreams come true.

Hello Timmermanns Ranch:

Just wanted to let you know that Mel has continued to fit in nicely - she just loves to be around us all the time; she’s a real people horse! I’ve attached a picture of her settling in her paddock run-in for a meal. She’s such a sweetie and I’m certainly enjoying getting to know her!

Thanks again!

Take care,
Daniell

Hello Timmermanns,

Here is a nice photo of Billy and Popcorn, and yes, they do match. They also get along great! He is her big protector and she is like a little princess. They are both fun to ride, which is really what matters to us. Thanks so much for finding us such wonderful horses,

Xenia and Roz

Hello!

Just wanted to let you know that "Loot" is doing great. He loves to eat, and rides as well here as he did at your place. He traveled home without a dent, and settled in beautifully within no time. He has his own pasture during the day for now, and visits with our other horses over the fence. Easy to catch and staying clean!

I wanted a horse I could ride alone or in a group; he fits the bill beautifully. We've already taken a ride out alone and he was GREAT! I'm looking forward to showing him the world around us.

Thanks again to everyone there for all your help in finding just the right horse, especially Kristen and Nell.

P.S. - Attached is a picture of him doing his favorite thing (true of most horses I know) - eating.

Hi Nell and Timmermann Clan,

We are doing well with Tucker. He is quite the horse. We are riding him both English and Western. At Western he is the slow, mellow fellow, but we found with the help of our instructor that he can be quite the collected, animated, bend at the pole, English horse. Our instructor wants to work with Rachel, my daughter, to show in Dressage. He has had some of this type of training it seems. He is full of surprises. We really love him. He loves being around people and is about as an affectionate horse that I have seen.

Can you please refresh my memory as to which type of Kimberwick he used (solid/snaffle mouthpiece).

We have a friend who lost her horse earlier this week and hopes to find a smaller QH type. I noticed Cannoli on your site. He reminds me of Tucker. Did they come from the same broker? She is a long time horse owner, but a more cautious rider like me.

Here are some pics of Tucker.

We would like to come up to see you before the holiday. I need another pair of those great Roper boots and have a birthday coming up.

Enjoy the holidays.

Hi,

I was browsing your web page, just always curious about the horses for sale, and just wanted to let you know the two horses we bought from you, Reed's Sprat Brat, and Paint by Nimble, are doing just great. We have always been happy with them. They are living the life in Danville, KY, just a little southwest of Lexington. Paint by Nimble, now called Comanchee, went to a reining trainer for a brush up this past spring, who was very impressed with him. As a matter of fact, he asked if we were interested in selling him. He also said everyone who came in the barn reallly liked him. Of course, my husband would never sell him! He really loves that horse. Mary, our daughter who we bought the bay quarter horse for, doesn't ride as much as she should, so I have taken to riding him on trail rides. He is a wonderful trail horse and him and Comanchee really step out together. They act like they are really going somehwere! We now call him Syrus. I think you called him Brat. I now work part time in a local hospital, and one of the nurses there rode years ago, and I am recruiting her to go on trail rides with me on him, and I can ride another horse. She hasn't been horseback for years, but I told her he used to teach kids lessons, which made her immediately feel more comfortable. She's going to come over and practice first.

I just wanted to let you know how the boys were doing. Hope your holidays will be happy and everyone is doing well.

Dear Carol, Dale, and Kristin,

We all want to thank you for all your kindnesses and help during our search for our perfect horse! Bringing him to us was such a welcome relief! I know it was a very long drive for you, and we hope you know just how much we appreciated it. Taylor has decided to call him Remington – or Remi. He seems to be acclimating to his new barn very nicely. They walked all around the barn, went into the arena and walked around, then back to his new stall. Then he visited the middle barn and said hello to a few of the horses there. He seems pretty happy. He has been chatting with the rest of the herd quite loudly. Tomorrow she’ll have a lesson with him.

Thank you so much. We are so very happy with our new family member.

All our best,
Yvette, John, Taylor and Remi

Hello Nell,

Oh my Goodness !!!!! I love these horses. You did them up so beautiful for me. Thanks. They are just perfect. You guys.....I just don't know what to say? A "mental" hug to you. Everything was so well arranged and documented. Just wanted to thank you again for ALWAYS advising me the right way. I am so very hooked on the quality horses that you sell. I truly thank you for describing them "just as they are" and - when they arrive, they are even better. Never disappointed. You are the place where one can buy without actually seeing the horse "in person". I am so happy, feel like a queen (going to wear my tiara to bed tonight and climb on my white steed in the morning...). Saddle totally perfect. I am excited about Rosie and I know that won't be my last one. You are very special, I thank you for bringing so much joy in our lives. Just wanted you to see how great Tommy and Jupiter look:

Very sincerely,

Hello,

I want to thank everyone there at the barn, they have been so kind and nice. We are so excited to have Swinger join our family! Well, I guess that is all, as if it wasn't enough :) Thank you all again, I am so very impressed with the ranch and the people who work there!

Take care.

Hello folks,

Just had to share these pictures of Bethany in her first horse show, a 4-H sponsored event. This was a learning experience for all of us. Bethany is riding Sydney, a horse from Timmermanns Ranch, and she was a really good girl. Anyway enjoy! And thanks for letting me brag!

Hi all,

I wanted to let you know how much I love Miss Willow. I've purposely waited a month before sending this note, honestly I couldn't believe she is as consistent & sweet as you said - but she is. She is so patient in both my & Maddie's lessons and tries very hard to please. I also can't believe she is such an easy keeper. I wish you guys could clone her, I'd buy two more! Thanks for your help and by the way, Willow is WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL.... she has become my best buddy. So loveable and willing to try anything I ask, I couldn't have asked for a better partner. Thank you Oh and yes, Mr. Chi Boy is great too - he's settled down quite nicely and what a personality on that boy! He's such a clown.

Good Morning,

I just wanted to give you an update on Scout's progress. I had moved him in March to a barn down in Beecher which had a large riding arena. The ability to ride 4 times per week made a huge difference in our partnership. I moved him back home on May 1 and the transition from the indoor arena to the trails was seamless. He is developing into a very solid trail horse, although he still does not like deer. I am riding him in a rope halter with reins attached, in other words without a bit. He is very responsive to my legs and requires very little rein. I realize I picked him from your quality inventory, but I also understand and appreciate that you selected him first. The selection of horses was excellent, the environment was warm and friendly, the advice given (in person, by phone, or e-mail) sound and truthful, and I greatly appreciated everyone’s patience. It was a great experience and I am thrilled with my new trail partner. Thanks again and good luck in your 08 show season.

Happy Trails!

Hi there

Just wanted to pay my compliments. We have seen you at the last 2 MSPB&O shows and have admired your horses, and (because my teenage son is the one who rides) your trucks & trailers! LOL I just checked out your website - very impressive. Should we ever be looking for another horse, we will see what you have to offer. We're in Michigan, otherwise I'd send my son for a few lessons. If you are everything your website says you are (and I'm sure it's all true), you are a great outfit which is the dream-come-true of many a horse family. Very, very impressive. Congratulations!!!

Hi,

About a year ago we bought two horses from you. A bay gelding for our daughter and a flashy paint reining gelding for my husband. Both horses have worked out well. They have been everything you said they were.
Thanks

Hello,
MYSTIC IS FINE. HE IS OUT IN THE PASTURE WITH 2 OTHER GELDINGS. HE IS SLOWLY LOSING HIS FACINATION WITH RUN IN SHEDS, HE STILL LIKES THEM ALOT. I RIDE HIM A FEW TIMES A WEEK, AND HE'S BEEN A GOOD BOY. HE RIDES OUT WITH HIS 2 PASTURE MATES, WHOM HE GETS ALONG WELL WITH. HE LOVES PEPERMINTS. HE SEEMS WELL CONTENT AND HAPPY.

Hello!

I bought my horse from you (a paint you called "Hondo" - Reg. name Totally Controversary) two and a half years ago and I would like to bring my friend and her daughter up to look at your paints for sale (she is currently taking lessons and is interested in purchasing a show horse).

Ps. I now own 4 show horses and Totally Controversary is STILL the love of my life!!!! I show him in halter classes (he even got a Reserve Champion), trail ride with him, he does it all! I will never forget your ranch for introducing me to him and creating our special partnership.

Greetings!

My wife and I bought a horse (Fancy) from your ranch in May of this year. I just wanted to thank you again for helping us find such a wonderful horse. Fancy is very happy in her new home with 2.5 acres of fenced pasture, over a mile of trails to ride and three sheep and a Labrador for companionship. We work with her daily and ride 3-5 times a week. Faye and I are completely satisfied and Fancy has proven to be the perfect horse for us. We are happy to give her a wonderful home for the rest of her life.

Hello Timmermann's!

Oree and I went to the Rocking Horse show on Sunday. We were entered in 4 classes and came home with 3 ribbons! Oree was awesome, I was in shock. She was 5th and 6th in her halter classes of 12 and 16. Then we placed 6th in a western pleasure class of 11! And no the other horses didn't buck through the entire class or kick the judge. :) She just clopped along like we knew what we were doing. So, of course, I have to send you her picture.

Hi Nell, Dale and Carol,

Toby is doing great! We're a great match.

A friend of mine showed him today and he placed first in Hunter under Saddle and Western pleasure. Both classes had 8 horses in them. He also placed second in a walk/trot. I was so proud. So his talents are not going to waste.

As you know I got him for trails and he's doing good, getting over his fears of the unknown. I always take him out alone and have not yet gone out with another horse. I'm thinking he'll like that even better.

I've attached a picture of us, it was taken a few months ago.

Take care,

Hello,

I can't sleep so I thought I would catch up on some email. Lacey AKA Lily is doing very well. She now stands still to be mounted from on both sides without an assistant, with out without the mounting block, and waits to walk off. She is very sweet and still a little mouthy but getting better at keeping her teeth to herself. She has been working on transitions and leg pressure. I can ride her around and just have my reins draped on the horn and she turns or whatever. We have been on lots of trail rides, our longest was at the Barrington equestrian center, she investigated all the jumps and went up and down obstacles, we even jumped a log. We are also doing Parelli seven games and she is so funny, so curious and confident. Anyway we love her, she is a keeper for sure. Kids are back in school, the world is quieter here, wahoo!

Hello Dale

Hope everything is good with you, I thought I would send you some pictures of Cruise. He is doing quite well, I have never met a more easy going guy! This horse is a dream to ride, his jog is so smooth. I couldn't be more happy with him, we have become really good buddies. BTY found a home for Scarlett, a 11 year old girl took her and is really having fun with her.
